Compliance Manager

Due to the product growth we are currently looking for a results-driven Compliance Manager.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the company has adequate policies, procedures, systems and controls in place to comply with the regulationsMonitor the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, procedures and systems of the companyDevelop and implement of compliance monitoring program and ensuring it effectively responds to new developments in regulatory requirementsPerform an effective KYC, CDD, and EDD processProvide guidance, advice, and training to the company’s staffPeriodically revise all company’s policies and proceduresCommunicate new regulatory requirements and emanate measures that need to be takenPerform annual and ad-hoc due diligence checks and AML/CFT risk assessments on the company’s counterparties and clientsHandle clients’ complaints and maintaining Complaints RegistryComply with AML/CFT controls including SARs, STRs and other related filings to the authoritiesMonitor accounts for suspicious transactions, potential fraud, and/or criminal activityIdentify and assess complex compliance and business risks, devise strategies to mitigate potentially adverse compliance and regulatory actions, and share detailed risk assessments and compliance reports with senior managementPrepare quarterly and annual compliance reports to management and regulatorsRequirementsAt least 2 years working experience as Compliance officer/ AML manager in brokerage companyPrevious experience in a similar roleExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsDegree in law, finance, or economicDeep understanding of Compliance, AML/CFT, KYC, KYT processesGood knowledge on provisions of regulations, laws, directives in AMLHigh level of attention to detail and adherence to established proceduresWe offer20 paid vacation days per year10 paid sick leave days per yearPublic holidays as per the company’s approved Public holiday listMedical insuranceOpportunity to work remotelyProfessional education budgetLanguage learning budgetWellness budget (gym membership, sports gear and related expenses)Originally posted on Himalayas
