Job Description

  • KodeKloud is a fast-growing EdTech SaaS company dedicated to transforming the way businesses and individuals upskill in DevOps, Cloud Computing, and AI through hands-on, real-world labs.
  • Trusted by over 1.5 million users worldwide and ranked #4 on the Straits Times’ list of fastest growing companies in 2024, KodeKloud champions a remote-first workforce, allowing team members to work from anywhere. We are passionate about creating a culture of learning, collaboration, and growth.
  • Role Overview
  • We’re hiring a detail-oriented Email & Campaign Ops Specialist to own the end-to-end execution of KodeKloud’s email and lifecycle campaigns.
  • This role suits a hands-on operator who lives in the details - someone who can take a campaign from brief to build, QA, scheduling, send, and post-send analysis without a step slipping, while keeping deliverability and engagement consistently healthy.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of email campaigns - brief, build, QA, scheduling, send, and post-send analysis across lifecycle, nurture, promotional, product, and newsletter sends.

• Build and manage campaigns in platforms such as HubSpot, CleverTap, SendGrid, or similar ESP and marketing-automation tools, including audience segmentation, list management, templates, and automation workflows.

• Ideate email campaigns and contribute to messaging, offers, and the send calendar in partnership with content, product, lifecycle, and marketing teams.

• Own the email calendar and ensure timely, error-free execution across time zones by coordinating assets, copy, and approvals ahead of every send.

• Protect and grow engagement by monitoring open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, unsubscribes, and spam complaints, and continuously optimizing toward healthy benchmarks.

• Design and run A/B tests across subject lines, send times, content, CTAs, and segments, and turn results into repeatable best practices.

• Maintain email hygiene and deliverability, list health, suppression and re-engagement management, sender reputation, and coordination on authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).

• Build and maintain automated drip, lifecycle, and triggered journeys that move users from signup to activation and retention.

• QA every send for rendering across clients and devices, working links, correct personalization tokens, and accurate segmentation before it goes out.

• Track and report campaign performance through clear dashboards, surfacing insights and recommendations for the wider marketing team.

What Success Looks Like:

• Campaigns ship on time and error-free across a busy, varied send calendar.

• Open rates, click-through rates, and overall deliverability stay healthy and trend upward.

• List health and sender reputation remain strong through disciplined hygiene and suppression management.

• Lifecycle and automated journeys reliably move users from signup toward activation and retention.

• Campaign decisions are grounded in testing and data, with insights feeding back into stronger future sends.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in email marketing, campaign or marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing, with hands-on ownership of campaign execution.

• Practical, hands-on experience with HubSpot, CleverTap, SendGrid, or similar ESP, marketing-automation, or CRM platforms.

• Strong understanding of email metrics — open rate, CTR, deliverability, bounce, and unsubscribe — and a track record of improving them.

• Experience with audience segmentation, list management, and building automation, drip, and triggered workflows.

• Familiarity with A/B testing and a structured, experiment-led approach to optimization.

• Working knowledge of deliverability fundamentals, including sender reputation, inbox placement, and email authentication.

• Comfort with basic HTML and email template editing is a plus.

• Sharp attention to detail and strong QA discipline, with the ability to run multiple campaigns to deadline without errors.

• An analytical mindset and comfort turning campaign data into clear reporting and recommendations.

• Experience marketing to engineers, DevOps, Cloud, AI, or technical upskilling audiences is a strong bonus.

Benefits

• 100% remote culture – work from anywhere, anytime.

• Be part of a mission-driven company helping millions upskill in DevOps, Cloud, and AI through hands-on learning.

• Opportunity to shape the voice of a fast-growing global brand.

• Collaborative, fast-paced, and creative work environment.
