micro1 is engaging Industrial Design CAD Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on advanced multi-part assemblies. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
• Review complex multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format and analyze their design intent.
• Author clear, objective, and non-guessable technical questions with exact answers based on the details and functions of the assemblies.
• Develop several unique questions for each assembly, ensuring comprehensive coverage of their structure, function, and relationships.
• Ensure clarity, precision, and unambiguity in all submitted questions and answers to support AI training data requirements.
• Leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design to identify key assembly features and technical nuances.
• Collaborate with project coordinators, providing feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of project processes.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design with strong foundational CAD knowledge.
• Expertise in interpreting multi-part assembly drawings, technical documentation, and CAD files.
• Proven track record authoring technical documentation, assessment materials, or similar structured content.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD software environments (FreeCAD experience is a plus, but not required).
• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and consistently meet project expectations.
• Passion for supporting technical education, assessment, or AI-related initiatives through expert-driven content.
