micro1 is engaging Travel, Hospitality & Culinary Experts to contribute their industry knowledge to a unique project focused on business presentation enhancement. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
• Receive and analyze images of business slides related to travel, hospitality, and culinary topics.
• Reconstruct, refine, and elevate these slides using Microsoft PowerPoint, strengthening data visualization and visual storytelling.
• Edit content for clarity and impact while maintaining factual accuracy and domain-specific context, including industry definitions and caveats.
• Document a detailed log of all changes made, as well as rationales for maintaining any original elements, highlighting sound choices and clear decision-making.
• Interpret and improve executive-level materials such as property performance reviews, guest experience summaries, food and beverage strategies, and occupancy or demand forecasts.
• Communicate message hierarchy and defend exhibit choices, ensuring presentations are tailored for senior or client-facing audiences.
• Participate in flexible, sprint-based project cycles that match your availability, with each slide assignment typically requiring 1–2 hours.
Preferred
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of direct experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, or food and beverage sectors.
• Proven skill in constructing executive or board-level presentations for industry stakeholders, with advanced PowerPoint capability.
• Strong written communication skills, with a focus on clarity, attention to detail, and effective data visualization.
• Critical thinking and content-editing proficiency, able to identify and enhance both narrative and visual aspects of presentations.
• Hands-on knowledge of message hierarchy, evidence-supported titling, and effective storytelling within business slides.
• Comfort with assessing and preserving essential industry frameworks, definitions, and assumptions within presentation content.
• Experience with AI model training, evaluation, rubric-writing, or similar projects is advantageous but not required.
