Job Title: Mortgage Loan Underwriter Department: Underwriting Location: On-site preferred (Meridian, ID) or virtual Employment Type: Full-Time DE Required. SAR PreferredPosition Summary:Underwrite mortgage loans that adhere to various agency underwriting policy and procedures. Additionally, responsible for answering questions and assist with problem solving with loan officers and processors, and respond to both internal and external QC audit findings in a timely and proficient manner.

Responsible for providing efficient, timely, consistent, accurate quality loan decisions daily.

Qualifications/Skills:Three years’ underwriting experienceFHA/Conventional MandatoryVA/USDA highly preferredMulti state highly preferredAbility to effectively communicate both verbal and writtenCapable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines on a consistent basisStrong mathematical aptitudeAbility to calculate income via W-2/Tax ReturnsAdept at analyzing issues and determining best approach for solutionGeneral experience and understanding of the following products:Byte Loan Origination SoftwareMicrosoft Word, Excel, and OutlookInternet NavigationStrong Interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work with a diverse client base (Loan Originators, processors etc)\Detail OrientedAdept at working in a high volume, fast paced environment

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (compensation to commensurate with experience)
