You are responsible for the planning and execution of all cable camera rental projects in the region with the goal of meeting budgeted pricing and delivering a successful outcome for the customer. In addition you take care of internal and external technical project management, preparing and ensuring the right equipment and crew are ready on-time, delivering value to our customers while maintaining the highest quality standard for the product. Best of all, you will be part of the Ross Video family, and we've got an energizing environment here.What the job is all about:Business Development & Pre-sales:Assess regional market dynamic and reports back to rental and management team.Assists with business development efforts in the region.Is main contact for rental inquiriesPrepares quotes for upcoming productions and maintains visibility in SalesForce.Negotiates conditions with clients and contractorsDouble-checks quotes (4 eye principle) with managing directorOperationsPlans site surveysSchedules crewLiaise and contract crewPrepares call sheets / itinerariesKeeps track of production arrangementsTechnician or Coordinator on JobCross-departmental work according to competence and requirementsSuggests improvements to existing processes with the goal of improving operational efficiencyAdministrationTracks booking of freelance crewLiaises with other spidercam groups for international productionsChecks invoices and allocates them to productionsSupport marketing activities (conventions, website, social media, print,…)Coordinate with public bodies (safety regulations)Project Management and Local LogisticsCreation of specifications and functional specificationsProject coordination with/in the teamMerchandise management (ordering, etc.)InventoryGets quotes for shipping / transport of systemsOrganizes transportBooks flightsTechnical Project ManagementRope testing and further developmentCommunication and coordination with manufacturersDefinition of test setups and scenariosExecution of the testsLeadership and Communication:Communicates with clients, partners, freelancers and internal departments such as engineering and operations.Helps on-board new team members as Spidercam’s regional operations continue to grow.Liaise with other Ross India team members to coordinate targeted activities (sales, marketing, support).Suggests product improvements as the “voice of the customer” in the region.Who you are:Proven track record in project management, preferably in sports/live events or cable cameras.Strong technical knowledge of cable camera systemsAbility to read mechanical / electrical drawings in the context of on-site Spidercam operationsExcellent communication skills including fluency in English, negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to engage at all organizational levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.A critical and lateral thinker who excels in problem-solving and thrives in ambiguity.Detail-oriented, organized, and team-oriented with a results-driven mindset.Ability to work independently and make quick decisions without formal guidanceBonus points if you have the following:Natural leader and team playerSafe, accurate and independent workBasic knowledge of accounting and logisticsHigh willingness to learnPassionate about cutting-edge technology and Ross Video solutions.Other:Willingness to travel up to 40% regionallyValid passport and driver’s license.Equity, Diversity & Inclusion At Ross, we embrace diversity, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work.
