About the roleSporty is seeking a TA Sourcing Team Lead to drive our global talent sourcing strategy across both Technical and Commercial functions.You will lead and mentor a growing team of sourcers while maintaining a hands-on approach to uncover high-potential candidates for departments including but not limited to Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations. You will work hand-in-hand with the wider Talent Acquisition team to build robust pipelines and ensure hiring managers have access to top-tier talent.This is a leadership role, ideal for someone with deep sourcing expertise who is ready to mentor a team, refine strategy, and contribute to scaling a fast-paced, global company.What you'll be doingLead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcers, driving performance and ensuring best practices across Technical and Commercial domainsBuild and maintain advanced sourcing pipelines for a diverse range of roles, from Software Engineers and Product Managers to Marketing and Finance leadersUtilise and train the team on LinkedIn Recruiter, X-ray search, and niche platforms (e.g. GitHub, StackOverflow, Behance, etc.) to identify hard-to-find talentAnalyse sourcing metrics and conversion rates to optimise strategies and report on team performance to leadershipCollaborate with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and define ideal candidate profilesScreen senior-level candidate profiles, assess culture fit, and manage the hand-off to recruitersAct as a subject matter expert on market trends, market mapping, competitive intelligence, and creative sourcing channels within the European market and beyondContribute to employer branding initiatives to attract passive candidates in a competitive marketWhat you'll bring5+ years of total experience in recruitment or sourcing, with at least 2 years of experience in a Lead or Senior capacityProven experience sourcing for both Technical (Engineering, Product, Data) and Commercial (Marketing, Finance, Ops) rolesExpert knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean logic, X-ray search, and alternative sourcing platformsExperience managing or mentoring other sourcers/recruiters, with the ability to drive KPIs and team motivationExcellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)Strong data and analytics expertise; comfortable using metrics to guide decision-making and strategyAbility to work well in a remote / distributed team environment across European time zonesAgility to switch focus quickly between high-volume technical roles and niche commercial searchesWhat's in it for youSporty is a remote first company in pursuit of sustainabilityA competitive salary + individual performance based bonuses every quarter28 days paid annual leaveOur core working hours are 10am-3pm in your local time zone with flexibility outside of thisFlash bonusesTop of the line equipmentAnnual company retreats to provide great internal networking opportunitiesIf you're interested, we encourage you to apply!
