Summary The Sr. Manager, Corporate Development (M&A) is a key contributor to Aspen Surgical’s acquisition and portfolio strategy. Reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Development, this role supports the full lifecycle of M&A activity—sourcing, evaluating, modeling, diligence, and integration planning.

You will lead the analytical and operational foundation of our deal processes, partnering with leaders across the business and helping shape the company’s long-term strategic direction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys both strategic thinking and detailed execution.

In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To M&A Execution

  • �� Build clear, accurate financial models and valuation analyses for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures.
  • �� Own day-to-day coordination of cross-functional due diligence, ensuring timely progress and alignment across teams.
  • �� Support the VP, Corporate Development in developing deal structures, negotiation strategies, and synergy assessments.
  • �� Create concise, data backed presentations for executive leadership and board-level review.
  • �� Develop, maintain and continuously improve tools used in the due diligence and acquisition pipeline management process.
  • �� Contribute to integration planning to ensure seamless transitions post-close.

Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • �� Research markets, competitive dynamics, and category trends to identify strategic opportunities.
  • �� Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of actionable targets aligned with Aspen’s strategic priorities.
  • �� Engage with business unit leaders to assess needs, capability gaps, and long-range growth opportunities.
  • �� Support strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and category expansion analyses.

Financial & Analytical Leadership

  • �� Build flexible models and frameworks that strengthen our evaluation and decision-making capabilities.
  • �� Conduct ROI, accretion/dilution, and sensitivity analyses to identify key value drivers and risks.
  • �� Provide clear, structured insights that balance strategic fit with financial returns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • �� Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, Commercial, Quality/Regulatory, HR, IT, and Legal to evaluate opportunities.
  • �� Serve as a connector between functional experts, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • �� Work with the integration team to facilitate effective handoff and execution of integration plans.
  • What You Need to Succeed in This Position
  • �� Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • �� 4–7 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or consulting.
  • �� Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities with hands-on deal experience.
  • �� Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for senior audiences.
  • �� Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • �� Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry preferred.
  • �� Exposure to post-merger integration and cross-functional diligence preferred.
  • �� Familiarity with healthcare regulatory considerations is preferred.
  • �� Action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • �� Detail-driven but able to maintain a strategic perspective.
  • �� Collaborative and skilled at building trust across teams.
  • �� Curious, resourceful, and energized by solving complex problems.
